In North Carolina, where I live, the mountains are covered with hardwoods and pines. Unless there is no soil. When you get high enough, the trees fall away, and the bare stone is exposed. This is represented in this painting where in places, there are no trees. This painting was originally a 6″ x 4″ Acrylic on paper. I used vivid colors here as they bring me great joy! I hope you enjoy it as well!
